Imanol Ruiz de Lara is a 37 year old Spanish filmmaker. As a son of professional actors, he soon developed a keen interest in cinema and image creation with an aesthetic style that sits somewhere between fashion photography, performance, design and high end cinematography. 

After more than seven years of experience in cinema and television, he decided to expand his career as a fashion films director, collaborating with big media platforms, such as the online edition of Vogue or brands such as Adolfo Domínguez, Yves Saint Laurent and Bimba&Lola. With a unique look and a narrative that doesn’t fear intelligent humour or irony, LARA soon attracted the interests of the advertising world, where he debuted with Collisions for Heart Ibiza that placed him on the Cannes Shortlist.
